For some, packing is stressful, for me, not so much. I love to plan things out, and packing is one way to do it. Packing is an art form, and I am notorious for overdoing it! I pack everything, and I mean everything! I like choice, and I strive to be prepared. Typically I am prepared, but more often than not, I am over prepared. Now, don’t think I don’t plan it out. I do! I am a planner.

Rewriting and typing out multiple flannel graph stories for some teens (and pre-teens) in my youth group. They will be used for their camp competitions. While working on those I had some music playing, as always. No matter what I’m doing, music is a must. This particular time, I was listening to a few songs by Daniel Choo, a guitarist on Youtube.
“Do you know who the world’s best author is? His book has been the top seller since it’s words were penned. Although He has only written one piece of non-fiction, His fame spreads through generations.
No author has surpassed Him; no skeptic has demolished His work. He wrote a book entitled, The Holy Bible. This book has stood against the test of time, the diatribe of critics, the sarcasm of enemies, the questioning of scholars, and the competition of the devil. Test His authorship. I dare you. Nobody has written like Him, and nobody ever will.” What kid doesn’t like legos? They boost creativity, motor skills, and problem solving. (They also are among the most painful things to step on!) My brothers and I used to spend hours on the floor building anything and everything, then taking them all apart and starting over. I still enjoy experimenting with legos. Recently, my Youth Groups’ “Atomic Friday” was themed around legos. Split into teams, we each built and raced our cars. Some crashed right off the ramp, some exploded half way down, and some surprised us and sped across the room.

This is an incredible post he wrote, and I couldn't write it any better, so I will share it. "What if the Holy Spirit was working in the heart of that person you passed by? What if He would have radically changed them because you invited them to church or told them about Jesus? What if your city is more open to the gospel than you and other Christians believe? This is something I had written back in 2009 in compliance with a school assignment, but also to my own interest.
Spiritual Heartache or Spiritual Heartburn? .... I’ve heard it said that “I am not afraid of heights, swimming, love, or the dark.... just falling, drowning, rejection and what’s in it.” There are countless fears and phobias people have. Some fears are simply... well, dumb. Such as...
Diets. Many humans solemnly promise to commit to eating right, especially as their ‘new years resolution’. They determine to choose cauliflower over cookies, salad over a second helping, or to cut out all sugar or soda. For some, healthy eating is self-chosen while for others,
