Another semester completed with only one left ahead. I had done my best to think of this year as yet another opportunity to learn and grow rather than a hindrance to graduation. Certainly, there have been moments and areas of failure within these past few months, but there has been an immense amount of grace. Come January is a new, fresh opportunity to begin again. The last opportunity. As for the months behind me, they have been sprinkled throughout with thoughts to ponder. I will now share just a few... -When you have nothing left to give, the grace of God provides more, not for you, but for you to give to others.
-Part of the criteria for being friends is whether or not you’d be tolerable to play 5 minute dungeons with. -If you're beautiful on the outside, but not on the inside, you're not beautiful. -I was not made to have friends, but to be a friend. -People change, but it's not always your fault. Consider your actions and intentions, then move on. You can't fix everything. -Married friends are the best friends. -A lion will never have to tell me it’s a lion -Sometimes I can’t tell if I feel sick because I’m tired or I feel tired because I’m sick. -Senior year is another opportunity to grow, not a hinderence to graduation -If you do the work, you have to have faith that a specific process is going to produce a product that’s worth it. -“I'm not judging you, I'm judging your fruit, and it’s not there” -If you’re a servant, you’ll have joy. If you don’t have joy, you’re not a servant” -All sunshine makes a desert -Grief is just love that you’re unable to give -You’re not tired, you’re weary. Sleep doesn’t help if it’s your soul that’s tired. -The realest people don’t have a lot of friends -Two of the worst things: lying to me. Lying about me. Whether who you are, or who you aren’t. -Some people live their lives with a constant thunder even when there’s no rain. -I’d rather have a guy be shocked when I put makeup on rather than take it off. -If you feel the need to hide your actions from your authority, you probably should reconsider doing 'it'. -If ever there's a battle between a bus and a car, make sure you're on team bus.
