So this is happening... Why we aren't waiting to share the news we are expecting.
A good number of new parents would wait another 3-4 weeks before breaking the news to the world until after the first trimester, the risk of a miscarriage greatly decreases. I'm not saying its wrong, I'm saying that I'm way too impatient to wait another month. ;) But, why aren't we following in their footsteps? 1) This baby is in the Lord's hands. The point it exists today is a straight up miracle. From things doctors have said, certain risks involved, to days of forgotten vitamins, none of which can thwart God's plan for its life. Certainly, we are doing our best to be responsible, but ultimately, it's future is in the Lord's hands. It isn't in our control. Whether it is now, or a month from now, it's in His control, and we trust Him. 2) This baby and its parents are going to need a lot of prayers. ;) We are confident in His power, and in the power of prayer. We know it will be loved and are sure that there will be many in prayer for the health and safety of it - but only if they know about it. 3) This baby is a gift. A life - right now. A life worth celebrating. We want to share it with those we love. That's family and friendship. That's a support team of those who understand when I feel like garbage all that time; a group of family and friends who are there for us no matter what.
